Terms of service

These terms govern a merchant’s use of the ReviewSpring Shopify application and related services.

Last updated 13 August 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

By installing or using ReviewSpring, you agree to these terms on behalf of the Shopify merchant you represent. You confirm that you have authority to bind that merchant and that your use complies with Shopify’s terms and the laws that apply to your business.

2. The service

ReviewSpring provides tools for review collection, moderation, storefront display, analytics, questions and answers, customer messaging, rewards, and optional integrations. Features may depend on the selected plan, Shopify APIs, third-party services, store configuration, and regional availability.

3. Plans, trials, and billing

ReviewSpring offers a Free plan and a Full plan priced at $8 USD every 30 days. Full includes a 14-day trial for eligible subscriptions. Paid charges are presented and approved through Shopify. You can return to Free from the plan screen; Shopify controls charge approval and billing records. Taxes may apply.

4. Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • your store, customer relationships, products, and legal disclosures;
  • having a lawful basis to send review requests and process shopper data;
  • the accuracy, legality, and moderation of content you publish;
  • protecting account access, API tokens, and integration credentials;
  • honouring unsubscribe, privacy, consumer, and promotional rules; and
  • reviewing automated or AI-assisted output before relying on it.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use ReviewSpring to send unlawful or deceptive messages, fabricate or manipulate reviews, misrepresent incentives, harass people, upload infringing or harmful content, bypass security or plan controls, disrupt the service, or violate another person’s rights.

6. Content and permissions

You retain rights in merchant content. You grant ReviewSpring the limited permission needed to host, process, adapt, transmit, and display that content to provide the service. You represent that you have the rights and notices needed for content and shopper information you submit or import.

7. Third-party services

ReviewSpring can connect to Shopify and other services. Their own terms, availability, APIs, and privacy practices apply. ReviewSpring is not responsible for third-party changes or outages, although we will work to keep supported integrations reliable.

8. Availability and warranties

We aim to provide a secure and dependable service, but ReviewSpring is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific sales results, inbox placement, search results, or third-party platform behaviour.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, am2pm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the service. Any aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid for ReviewSpring during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Limits that cannot legally apply remain unaffected.

10. Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using ReviewSpring or uninstall it at any time. We may suspend access to protect the service, comply with law, address non-payment, or stop serious misuse. We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be communicated through reasonable channels. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Subject to any mandatory consumer or other legal rights, the courts responsible for Rorschach, Switzerland, have jurisdiction.
